Best Book for PL/SQL

While this may not be the best book for someone new to oracle PL/SQL, I found it to be quite useful to me. The humourous language, distinctive writing style and the O'Reilly stamp all add up to make this book the number one reference for and SQL programmer.

Note that this book is not a fast reference. If you need something you can keep by the side of your laptop while you code, I will recommend Scott Urman's (Oracle Press) PL/SQL book. If you're a serious Oracle PL/SQL programmer out for the details, then this book stands highly recommended.

For those not familiar with the O'Reilly series books, they are well crafted and written to make study as easy as possible. This one is no exception, as it is so popular that it finds itself in direct competition with even books from Oracle Press.

You will not only read this book, you will enjoy it!
